Hi,
I went to put my 72" mid-mount mower on my 4310 hydro last night and had a heck of a time. I should have know it was going to be a bad night when I started out by hitting the new garage with the front end loader. Anyhow, I could not get the deck to raise and lower. I tried switching the hydraulic lines around and still couldn't get it to work. I also had a heck of a time getting the yoke (???) on the front of the deck hooked to the front of the tractor. And, there are three holes for the front draft arms (???). My manual says the pin should should go in the front holes, but to mee it looks like it was in the middle hole. I don't have my manual in front of me, so I hope what I am saying makes sense. Does anyone else have the same set up or can you give me any direction on getting this straightened out. The lawn is getting pretty tall now! Obviously, I am going to write everything down so I can remember where everything goes the next time I need to do this. Thanks for the help!

I have a 4310 ehydro and the 72" Mid mount. I have mine in the middle hole and the front mount was a snap to just set in the slots and rotate it into place using the little handle attached to it.Took me about half an hour to mount the mower. At first I had the forward links in the front hole and the tires rubbed on the deck with it in the center hole things are much better. ....

If you can't get the hydraulics to work, a little more info about the set up might help. ....

Pg. 6 in the owner's manual says the draft arm drilled pin goes in the middle hole for the 72" mmm on the 4310 & 4410. I have the 4410 and that is how I mounted mine. As far as the deck not raising or lowering; I would recheck you hyd. connections and also look at the height set knob on the left side of the foot platform to see if it is turned all the way in. That could lock the deck in place if it is turned all the way in. Make sure you to grease and check lube in gearbox. Check tire pressure so they are even as per the manual and set the deck height and level as per the book. The first time is a pain in the butt! Good luck and enjoy your Deere! ....
